      A beautifully restored historic railroad depot is now a charming home in a private country setting surrounded by magnificent trees.  The long leaf pine floors, six foot windows and 12 foot ceilings combine to give warmth and charm to this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. A large study/bedroom with an antique double bed and a large sitting area, 1 bedroom has a four poster antique double bed and the other bedroom a king-sized with a private bath. A living room with fireplace and the inviting sunroom furnished with wicker and a Franklin stove provide guests with ample living area.  The house is completely furnished with some fine antiques, and a large country kitchen.   From the sunroom, a brick terrace provides a view of the lake and a wisteria arbor leads to lovely gardens which complete this peaceful and very private setting located just 15 minutes northwest of Brenham near historic Independence. Can accommodate up to 6 adults.  Minimum stay 2 nights.  2 room suite with private bath available upon request.  May be leased by the month.  Horse accommodations also available.
